Mergers, acquisitions, and IT migrations made simple. We guide you every step of the way, delivering secure, efficient, and disruption-free Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud migration solutions tailored to your business needs.
The duration of a tenant-to-tenant migration depends on multiple factors: the volume of mailboxes, the size and number of SharePoint/OneDrive sites, data transfer speed, coexistence complexity, and the quality of pre-migration planning. In some small to medium environments, the core migration may complete in a few days; for larger enterprises or more complex coexistence scenarios, it may span several weeks. Because we break the migration into carefully planned phases (preparation, pilot, bulk migration, cutover, validation), we aim to minimize downtime and maintain user productivity throughout.
No, our objective is to preserve all essential attributes and history. We migrate not only files and documents, but also permissions, version history, metadata, links, and folder structure. We also account for workflows, site settings, and list structures where applicable. If a particular item or custom component cannot be migrated automatically (e.g. certain third-party integrations or custom web parts), we flag it early and propose manual remediation. Post-migration validation ensures integrity and completeness of the transferred content.
Yes, we often implement coexistence strategies to allow both source and target environments to work together during the transition. For example:
Mail routing, calendaring, and directory synchronization (hybrid/identity sync).
Incremental data replication so changes after initial migration are captured.
Staged cutover windows that segment users or departments.
This helps reduce business disruption and ensures that new changes in the source environment are not lost during cutover. Once fully migrated and validated, we decommission the legacy systems in a clean, planned way.
Active Directory migrations and domain consolidations are among the more complex types of IT projects. Some challenges include:
SID history and access continuity: ensuring that users retain access to resources even after domain changes.
Trust and replication configuration: setting up domain/forest trusts correctly to enable migration flows.
Group Policy, OU hierarchy, and GPO conflicts: resolving overlapping or conflicting policies.
Replication latency, DNS issues, or AD functional level mismatches.
We mitigate these risks by conducting thorough discovery and assessment, planning the migration path in phases, testing trust and replication, and validating object consistency before final cutover.
Not always often your existing infrastructure and licenses are sufficient, but it depends on your environment. Some scenarios where you might need additional resources include:
If your target environment doesn’t have capacity (storage, compute, bandwidth).
If you’re introducing new services, features, or add-ons in Microsoft 365 (e.g. extra security or compliance modules).
If legacy systems are not compatible with tools used for identity synchronization or migration.
If you want to provision parallel infrastructure (e.g. staging servers, temporary VMs) to support coexistence.
We always audit your existing setup first, propose any necessary upgrades or license changes, and help you procure only what you truly need.
